According to historical sources the Arabic religion of ISLAM was founded by a man named Muhammad born c 570 AD in the city of Mecca and died in 632 AD in the city of Medina. The word ISLAM essentially means, “Submission To The Will Of God.” Muslim scholars believe that the religion of Islam started in 610 AD with the first Vision that Muhammad received in Mecca.
